New Exploration Tools for European Pegmatite Green-Tech Resources (GREENPEG)
The GREENPEG project was funded under the European Union's Horizon 2020 Research and Inovations programme, to improve exploration in Europe for pegmatites and sources of critical materials. GREENPEG seeks shorter, more secure supply chains for pure silica, Li, Ta, Cs, Be, for the energy transition and emerging technologies.
Nose boom magnetics for Europe
Terratec Geophysical Services presents the first fully European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA)-certified magnetic nose boom system. This system makes it possible to fly low level, high resolution magnetic and radiometric surveys simultaneously on AS350 helicopters, particularly in mountainous terrain. Modern high resolution airborne geophysics, as conducted in Canada for decades, are finally available in Europe to support mineral exploration projects.
